Purpose: To choose a topic that we care about and make it into an editorial. To practice more commercial media, such as editorials, and to balance text and images to create a harmonious visual.

Choice: I chose to do my editorial on autism because around this time, I was working with my parents to get guardianship over my brother, who has autism, and at the time was a legal-aged adult. It was a very time-consuming and mentally draining experience just to get the proper help my brother needed, but necessary as there could be complications later down the line when giving care to him. I did this editorial as a guide to navigate through that tough time for other parents or guardians who may need guidance when it comes to guardianship over a dependent.
