Media: Editorial

Project: To choose a topic that we care about and make it into an editorial. To practice more commercial media, such as editorials, and to balance text and images to create a harmonious visual.

Rationale: I chose to do my editorial on autism because around this time, I was working with my parents to get guardianship over my brother, who has autism, and at the time was a legal-aged adult. It was a very time-consuming and mentally draining experience just to get the proper help my brother needed, but it was necessary, as there could be complications later down the line when giving care to him. I did this editorial as a guide to navigate through that tough time for other parents or guardians who may need guidance when it comes to guardianship over a dependent.
