Media: Mixed media (book & interactive cards)

Project: To create a story through a narrative of my choice and create 2 different media that go with it. This project aims to gain a deeper understanding of what I will be doing for my capstone senior project.

Rationale: My goal for this project is to showcase a part of my life through rice and how the two cultures I come from can be united. This is meant to be a story about identity and how that identity affects me and other people who are mixed or come from 2 different cultures. At some point, everybody gets confused with themselves and wonders, “Who am I?” This project is not meant to be a magic spell to tell you who you are, but one that lets you know that you’re not alone.
